Own-it intellectual property articles

Own-it (www.own-it.org) provides guidance on intellectual property matters to the creative sector. Its resources include articles, factsheets and advice clinics. Own-it is assisted by other organisations, including BPP Law School Pro Bono Centre. From time to time I supervise students of BPP Law School to provide guidance to organisations on particular issues, or to write articles and factsheets on topics of interest.

The following are links to some articles written by students of BPP Law School for the Own-it website, with which I assisted.

January 2013: Legal issues in relation to the use of font software and the associated typeface produced by the font

May 2013: Design law reform within the Intellectual Property Bill (introduced into the House of Lords in May 2013)

May 2014: 3D printing – opportunity or threat for designers?

May 2014: Lush v Amazon – trade mark infringement from online search practices
